  • I so enjoyed my stay here. I spent 6 says during the Fall color peak! This is a down home travel hotel that I have used for many years. Top floor room had amazing views of the mountains. Recently remodeled the room was very comfortable and clean. This hotel is small enough that morning breakfast in the lobby allowed great staff interaction and it was easy to converse with other travelers. Salida is a very dog friendly town. This hotel is dog friendly and has a great back area that is partially fenced in for your dogs outdoor needs. Bags and scoopers are provided and pet owners were fairly responsible in picking up after their dogs. Did I mention how welcoming and friendly the staff were. I would not stay anywhere else in Salida.
